NO ROOM IN THE LODGE FOR JESUS

by Jim Shaw

The Masonic "Blue Lodge"

Masonic writers all agree that Freemasonry is a religion but insist it is not CHRISTIANITY. We wonder why any Christian would want to join a lodge where men of all creeds meet around the same altar, which has a Bible on it (used as a container for the SQUARE & COMPASS).

The Buddhist kneels with the Christian Scientist, Spiritist, Mormon, Unitarian, Theosophist, Mohammadan, and many who know not what they worship. The god of Masonry is known as the G.A.O.T.U. or the Grand Architect of the Universe. Masonry teaches that each man can be his own "CHRISTOS" and by good works attain that GRAND LODGE ON HIGH.

The Scottish Rite

In the Scottish Rite many gods are revered, many religions are taught but never is the Blessed Name of Jesus allowed. Teachings of the Kabbalah, Zend Avesta, and the Gnostics along with Astrology, Egyptian gods -- Zeus, Osirus, Semaramis, Isis and Krishna. The god of NATURE is the god of the Scottish Rite. The ancient philosophers -- Plato, Pythagoras, Socrates and Philo -- are given great honor. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are given reverence as gods. Such are the great secrets of Scottish Freemasonry.

The Pentangle of Solomon hangs in the lodge, along with the equilateral triangle, the all-seeing eye and the brazen Serpent of the Druzes. Universal Brotherhood is more important than the love of JESUS, who is ignored.

The York Rite

York Rite Masonry blackballs the Lord Jesus Christ from its lodges and chapters. It uses, in mockery, as a password, one of the most endearing titles by which our beloved Lord was addressed, RABBONI, Beloved Lord, thus as it were betraying Him with a kiss. The Name of Jesus is struck out of all Scripture that is used.

The Eastern Star

Most members are sure they are in a Christian order when they join the "STAR." How is this possible without the Lord Jesus Christ? In the many years of my membership I never heard His name mentioned. The strangest thing about the "STAR" is the star.

Mr. Lewis Engle, who wrote the History of the Eastern Star and was one of its founders in the U.S., tells in his book of the controversy among its members regarding the STAR. Mr. Engle state, "Rob Morris was perhaps not lacking in mythological lore when he penned the instructions for forming the emblem, with two points up, mythology teaches that the star with two points up is the emblem that stands for the 'GOAT OF MENDEZ,' god of lust." Many years later, at a special meeting on this subject the officers decided to keep the emblem, since as they said, "This emblem, which has been our symbol, although a sign of evil has been redeemed by "THE GOOD WORKS OF OUR MEMBERS!!"

Now we ask, when the ladies, or gentlemen of the STAR, give the password at the door with is "WE HAVE SEEN HIS STAR IN THE EAST AND HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM" of whom are they speaking?

Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, A.A.O.N.M.S.

What can be said about an Order that was founded in Mecca, Arabia in 1608 and brought to this country by an Arab in 1871, sold to Dr. Fleming who was chosen its first Potentate. This Islamic cult of Freemasonry which most Masons strive to attain is purely HEATHEN.

The Koran is on the altar, and all prayers are to Allah. The Masonic lodge points with pride to "the good they do" but as God sees it in Isaiah 64:4: "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." A show piece for Freemasonry? YES! but what about the Christian who allows himself to be drawn into this EVIL, is he really proud of it?
